Our first second Thanksgiving
This was our first Thanksgiving as Mr. & Mrs., our second Thanksgiving in Austin, and our third Thanksgiving together! Our day began with the Macy’s parade followed by a run to the gym. On the way home, we were stopped at a red light accompanied by homeless man with a sign that said, “Happy Thanksgiving” and we gave him a Life cereal bar.
When we got home, it was time to start cooking! Once again, I followed the Williams-Sonoma menu and prepared a feast of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, glazed carrots and homemade cheddar biscuits and it was delicious!

The next day, we went to see Justin and Carrie at the Ranch. We fed the cows and I met Mr. Brows who was a bit weary of me despite my best effort to be friendly and say “Hello!” Here is one of our finer moments together before I seem to have worn out my welcome and my slow, non-threatening approach was countered with a backward shuffle.

The rest of the weekend, we watched two of our favorite Christmas movies (one featuring the California Raisins, the other a Christmas Carol in Bedrock), decorated with our tree and stockings and small fleet of reindeer and indulged in a nightly cuppa Silly Cow cocoa.
Next stop: Taaa-hiiii-tiii!
